Ticket Information
Good to Know – Information for Your Visit
- Our online tickets allow you to use the Fast Lane for priority access to the express lift during your booked time slot. Depending on visitor numbers, waiting times may still occur.
- Discounted admission rates may be available if you have a reservation at the Turm Restaurant or for brunch at the Turm Café.
- Your personal discount code will be sent together with your reservation confirmation. Enter the discount code in the voucher field and confirm the entry. Do not complete your order until the reduced price is displayed. Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively, and the price difference cannot be refunded after the order has been completed.
- Discounts are granted only upon presentation of a valid ID or the required supporting document. Eligibility for the respective discount must exist on the date of your visit. Please have the relevant documentation ready when you arrive.
- Children under the age of 14 may visit the Donauturm only when accompanied by an adult.
- Children under the age of 3 receive a free ticket at the ticket desk when accompanied by an adult or senior.
- A valid admission ticket is also required to use the Donauturm Slide.
- Slide fun packages are not personalised and may be used by several people within their stated validity period.
Ticket Terms
Validity and Time Slot
Admission and slide tickets are valid only on the booked date of visit.
The selected time slot determines the period during which priority access via the Fast Lane is available. If you arrive late, you may lose your entitlement to priority access. Subject to opening hours, available capacity and ongoing operations, your admission ticket may still be used via the regular entrance on the booked date.
Cancellation, Withdrawal, Rebooking and Refunds
Pursuant to Section 18(1)(10) of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz – FAGG), there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal for admission, slide, event or combination tickets booked for a specific date, appointment, time slot or period.
Voluntary cancellation, rebooking or refund is available only if expressly stated for the respective product or expressly granted by Donauturm as a gesture of goodwill in an individual case. There is no legal entitlement to a goodwill decision.
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. This applies in particular if a booked service is cancelled, not provided or not provided in accordance with the contract by Donauturm.

Annual Passes
Annual passes are personalised and non-transferable. A valid photo ID must be presented when using the annual pass.
The annual pass is valid for 12 months. It is not valid on 24 December, 31 December, 1 January or on announced closure days due to scheduled maintenance.
For annual passes purchased online, the statutory withdrawal provisions and the rules concerning the immediate commencement of the service and any applicable proportionate payment obligation apply. Donauturm Slide
Use of the Donauturm Slide is permitted from a minimum height of 110 cm and a minimum age of 6 years.
Operation of the slide may be temporarily restricted or suspended, particularly due to technical, operational, weather-related or safety-related circumstances. Mandatory statutory rights in the event that a booked service cannot be provided remain unaffected.
Safety information
Please observe our safety regulations, which form part of the official operating licence of the Danube Tower.
For safety reasons, particularly in the event of a fire or other emergency, exceptions cannot be made.
