At the Turm Restaurant at 170 metres and the Turm Café at 160 metres, you can enjoy the same festive New Year’s Eve buffet. The offers differ in starting time, height and seating category.

At the Turm Restaurant, only window tables are available. At the Turm Café, you can choose between window tables and inner tables. Tables are booked in fixed sizes for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people.

Programme & services

• The Turm Restaurant and Turm Café offer the same festive New Year’s Eve culinary experience, combining a buffet with served courses.
• To begin the evening, a special amuse-bouche will be served directly at your table. You can then choose from a selection of starters, soups and main courses at the buffet. Selected main courses will be freshly carved for you at the carving station. Dessert and cheese will be served at your table to conclude the meal.
• At the Turm Restaurant and Turm Café, the included beverages comprise free-flow Champagne throughout the event, Austrian and Italian white and red wines, beer, a selection of Spritz variations, soft drinks, coffee, tea and selected schnapps.
• On the indoor viewing terrace, the included beverages comprise free-flow Champagne throughout the event, Donauturm wines, Aperol Spritz, beer, soft drinks and the long drinks Rum and Coke, Vodka Lemon and Gin and Tonic. Coffee and tea are not included in the indoor viewing terrace package.
• Around midnight, Ö3 and the ringing of the Pummerin bell will accompany the transition into the new year.
• All New Year’s Eve packages include admission to the Danube Tower and the lift ride. Use of the Danube Tower slide is subject to weather and operating conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

Important information for New Year’s Eve 2026/27

• The New Year’s Eve events take place on 31 December 2026.
• The Turm Restaurant event begins at 8:30 pm.
• The Turm Café event begins at 9:00 pm.
• Admission to the indoor viewing terrace is only possible between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm. The entrance to the Danube Tower will close after 11:00 pm.
• All New Year’s Eve events end at 1:00 am on 1 January 2027.
• No seating is available on the indoor viewing terrace.
• The Turm Restaurant and Turm Café packages include the New Year’s Eve culinary experience with a buffet and served courses.
• The indoor viewing terrace package does not include a New Year’s Eve buffet.
• Children are welcome. There is no reduced price for children; the regular price of the selected New Year’s Eve package applies. No dedicated children’s programme or special entertainment for children will be provided.
• Gift vouchers cannot be used as payment for the New Year’s Eve event.
• Use of the Danube Tower slide is subject to weather and operating conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
  
  

Accessibility information

The Turm Restaurant, Turm Café and indoor viewing terrace can only be accessed via stairs and are therefore not wheelchair accessible. Special conditions apply to guests using walking frames. Further information is available on our Danube Tower accessibility page.

Booking and cancellation conditions

The New Year’s Eve packages at the Danube Tower can only be booked subject to availability.

Once payment has been completed, cancellations and refunds are not possible. In the event of a cancellation or no-show, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
