Free Return Visit in Case of Limited Visibilty

The Danube Tower offers a View Guarantee between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM for online-purchased admission tickets.

If weather conditions significantly restrict visibility and you are unable to see at least two of the following Vienna landmarks during your visit, you may receive a free discount code for a future visit:

  • DC Tower
  • Giant Ferris Wheel (Prater)

This allows you to plan your visit with confidence – because we believe the view is an essential part of the Danube Tower experience.

How the View Guarantee Works

Step 1: Visit the Danube Tower between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM

Step 2: Contact the Front Desk

If visibility conditions meet the requirements, please speak with our Front Desk team immediately after your visit.

Step 3: Complete the Form

The ticket purchaser will be asked to complete a short form on-site.

Step 4: Receive Your Discount Code

After review, you will receive your personal discount code by email.

Step 5: Book Your Free Return Visit

The code is valid for 3 months and can be used to book one free admission ticket for a future visit.


Important Information

  • Tickets for the original visit cannot be refunded.
  • The View Guarantee must be requested on the same day as your visit.
  • Requests submitted after the visit date cannot be accepted.
  • The discount code is valid only for a future visit.

Who Can Use the View Guarantee?

The View Guarantee applies only to regular-price admission tickets purchased through the Danube Tower online shop.

  • View Guarantee discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or vouchers.
  • The discount code can only be used to book one free admission ticket for a future date.
  • Redemption is only possible through the Danube Tower online shop.
  • Discount codes cannot be redeemed at the Front Desk.
  • Each discount code may only be used once.
  • Visit dates booked with a discount code cannot be changed.
  • Lost discount codes cannot be replaced.
  • Unused discount codes expire after 3 months.
  • Extensions of validity are not possible.

Can I get a refund instead?

No. Instead of a refund, you will receive a discount code for one future free visit.

How long is the discount code valid?

The code is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

When do I need to request the View Guarantee?

The request must be made on the same day as your visit at the Front Desk.

Which landmarks must not be visible?

At least two of the following landmarks must be obscured due to weather conditions:

  • DC Tower
  • Giant Ferris Wheel (Prater)

Can I use the discount code more than once?

No. Each discount code can only be redeemed once.
